◘ A RECONSTRUÇÃO ALEMÃ APÓS A 2ª GUERRA

O fotógrafo Walter Sanders deixou a Alemanha nazista no começo dos anos trinta.

Foi para os Estados Unidos e se tornou fotógrafo da LIFE.

Após cobrir a II Guerra Mundial para a publicação, voltou para a terra natal e fez grandes reportagens sobre a reconstrução da Alemanha.

A edição de 11 de novembro de 1946 da revista LIFE trazia uma grande reportagem sobre Berlim pós-guerra.

Foram seis páginas com um ensaio fotográfico de Sanders narrando a sua volta e reencontro com amigos e a cidade de origem.

Também, em 1951, ele documentou a retomada da indústria alemã retratando a fábrica da Volkswagen na cidade de Wolfsburg.
